Vanaf 2 september 2008 studeer ik een jaar in “The Chonx” – Chongqing, China. Omdat ik al een paar jaar het land niet meer ben uit geweest verwacht ik een cultuurschok en een blog is het minste wat ik kan doen om iedereen op de hoogte te houden van wat hier gebeurt. Geen idee wie dit zal lezen, maar voor de zekerheid schrijf ik alles zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels, misschien komt daar na een tijdje nog Chinees bij. Posts zullen voorzien worden van een categorie, zoals Pictures (Foto’s), Local News (Chinees nieuws, vertaald waar nodig), Gibberish (Algemeen), Living (Persoonlijke dingen), School (Het onderwijs hier of interessante dingen die ik tegenkom/leer in de les…), en meer indien nodig.

Starting September 2, 2008 I’ll be studying in “The Chonx” – Chongqing, China. This blog is to keep track of my ramblings and things I notice around. I’m sure to experience a culture shock as I haven’t left the country in several years. Since this is for friends, too, I’ll be writing most things in both English and Dutch, and I might even add Chinese after a while if I feel lucky. I’ll try to apply categories to posts, like Pictures (Photos), Local News (news from China), Gibberish (General), Living (Personal stuff), School (Education or interesting things I’ve learned), and more to come if and when the need arises.
